Employment, Internship, and Volunteer Opportunities
Full-time employment At present we have one opening, for a Research Associate, described here. If you are interested do not hesitate to write or call us. And spread the word in your networks! We have another potential opening as well, for an Outreach Associate, for which funding has not yet been secured. These are potential career positions -- vocations, more than jobs. We aim high, work hard, have fun -- and we take care of our people.
Internships The Study Group has hosted many successful interns through the years. After making real contributions to the work here, our interns have gone on to successful careers in several professions, including nuclear disarmament, nonproliferation, law, journalism, and more. Our most recent internship program was our "Climate and Solar Ambassador Program" in 2017, which was almost our sole focus that summer. It is often possible for interns to arrange for academic credit. Our internships come with modest stipends, depending on experience and circumstances. If you are interested, please write or call.
Volunteer Opportunities We always have work for committed volunteers, including non-technical but critically-important work that can truly make a difference in outcomes. These opportunities are not "one-size-fits-all," and we can't list them here. If you think you might be interested, write or call and we can set up a meeting.
