Contains scrap metal, construction debris, and classified materials in unknown quantities.
Potential environmental impacts:
Pajarito Canyon and Canada del Buey
New Mexico Environment Department's (NMED) Hazardous and Radioactive Material Bureau (HRMB) ranks this MDA as an area with a low probability of contaminant mobilization and a low to moderate potential of release to the groundwater.
Other pertinent information:
Three disposal cells and two shafts are still used for controlled industrial solid waste.
Asbestos waste is stored here until shipped off site for disposal.  (2)
